But it can make you too self-satisfied. If you want to avoid surprises, it’s a good idea to carefully monitor your AirPods’ battery life. However, the charging case status indicator is not a convenient and reliable tool.
Fortunately, there are multiple ways to check your AirPods battery life and charging case on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch. The following details all possible methods.
Check AirPods Battery Life – iPhone & iPad
If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, you can use AirPods’ charging status alerts, battery widgets, AirPlay screens, or Siri to check the battery life of your AirPods and charging case.
AirPods charge status alert
If you want to know how much charge is left on your AirPods when you’re not actively using it, open the charging case closer to your iPhone or iPad. After a while, you will see an alert with relevant details.
You can also check the battery life of both AirPods individually. Simply remove one AirPod from your case and the status alert will be updated accordingly.
Add battery widget
