The Magic Mouse isn’t the most ergonomic device on the planet, but we can’t deny how well it works on the Mac. It connects perfectly and is very convenient to set up. But what if you want to use it on a PC or Mac running Windows 10 via Boot Camp?
Magic Mouse uses Bluetooth to connect, so you can connect to Windows and use it for basic navigation without any problems. However, the touch-based nature of input devices means that you can’t scroll anywhere without installing the appropriate drivers.

Adding and configuring Magic Mouse on Windows
Just like any other Bluetooth device, you can connect your Magic Mouse to a PC or Mac running Windows 10 via USB. If your computer doesn’t support Bluetooth, you can pair with a Bluetooth adapter instead.

You can now use Magic Mouse to navigate Windows. Click the left side of the mouse to perform a normal click, then click the right side to perform a right click.
You can also use the controls below to swap buttons and adjust the cursor speed. start >> >> setting >> >> device >> >> mouse.. You also have the option to change the scroll speed, but on Windows you can’t scroll until you add the Apple Wireless Mouse driver to your PC.

Install Magic Mouse Driver on your PC
If you want to scroll using Magic Mouse on your PC, you need to manually install the Apple Wireless Mouse driver. There are two ways to get the driver file.
Download drivers directly from Apple
Apple provides a Boot Camp support software package that includes the Magic Mouse driver needed to enable scrolling on your PC. However, it’s so old that you may not be able to scroll on some computers running Windows 10.
1. Go to Apple’s download page Boot camp support software.. Then download the latest version of Boot Camp support software to your PC.
2. Unzip the downloaded ZIP file.
3. Open the unzipped folder and go to Boot camp >> >> driver >> >> Apple..
4. Double-click the labeled file AppleWirelessMouse64 Follow the on-screen instructions to install Apple Wireless Mouse Drivers.
5. Restart your PC and see if you can scroll vertically or horizontally in Windows using Magic Mouse. If not, try the following methods.
Download drivers from Apple using Brigadier
Brigadier is a Python script that allows you to get the latest Boot Camp support software from Apple by identifying your PC as a Mac. The Apple Wireless Mouse driver included in the package is compatible with almost any computer running Windows 10.
1. Download Brigadier from GitHub and Brigadier.exe File to desktop.
2. Open start Menu, type cmd,Choose Open..
3. Type the following command in the Command Prompt Console and press. come in:
cd desktop
4. Enter the following command and press come in:
brigadier.exe -m MacBookPro16,3
The above command contains a Mac model identifier (MacBookPro16,3) that identifies your PC as a 13-inch 2020 MacBook Pro. You can replace it with another identifier, but we recommend using the identifier of the most recent Mac model that supports Windows over Boot Camp.
5. Wait for Brigadier to download and extract the latest driver from Apple to your desktop.
Note: If Brigadier fails to download the file (or if you see an empty folder on your desktop), install 7-Zip on your PC and try again.
6. Open Boot camp Navigate to a folder on your desktop $ WinPEDriver $ >> >> AppleWirelessMouse..
7. Right-click on the labeled file AppleWirelessMouse64.inf Choose install..

8. Select yes When all right Complete the driver installation.
9. Restart your PC. Now you can scroll both horizontally and vertically with Magic Mouse.
Install Magic Mouse Driver on Mac
When you set up Windows 10 with Boot Camp, your Mac automatically installs the Boot Camp support software package that contains all the drivers your Apple device needs to work with Windows. However, in most cases, Magic Mouse will not scroll until you install a pending driver update via Apple Software Update.
1. Open start Menu, type Apple Software Update, Choose Open..
Note: Apple Software Update is pre-installed on Windows running through Boot Camp. It does not need to be installed separately.
2. Wait for Apple Software Update to scan for available updates.

5. Restart your Mac. Magic Mouse should start working properly on Windows.
