Your iPhone has become as part of your life as your toothbrush or deodorant. Standard routine services depend on the behavior of mobile devices. Many people even use their phones to pay for things in stores. This all means that you need a way to keep your device charged on the go.

Syncwire manufactures a variety of charging devices, including lightning cables and USB-C quick chargers that connect to vehicle auxiliary power outlets (often called cigarette lighters). The company sent me a charger and a lightning cable for testing.

USB-C Quick Charger: Convenient but not fast

The idea of fast charging the vehicle is exciting, but unfortunately the Syncwire charger didn’t live up to expectations. It’s convenient and can charge two devices at the same time (one via the USB port and the other via the USB-C port), but it didn’t achieve a “quick charge” speed.

In our tests, the charger ran at about 1% of the battery’s pace with a one minute charge. After 25 minutes of charging, the phone was only 29% charged. According to Apple, fast charging restores 50% of battery power in just 30 minutes of charging.

Syncwire technical specifications

Syncwire chargers are packed with features. It supports both PD and QC fast charging protocols and can power two devices simultaneously at up to 2.4 amps per port. According to the spec sheet, the charger consumes up to 24W and can recharge up to 80% in 35 minutes, but our tests did not support this claim.

The charger contains a chip that protects against voltage fluctuations such as overvoltage and undervoltage, short circuits, and overheating. This is especially useful in cars and trucks where the battery may not be able to supply a certain amount of power.

According to Syncwire, the charger is compatible with a wide range of products up to iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S20.

Syncwire fast chargers are small and compact. It doesn’t stick out of the auxiliary power port, and its simple black design doesn’t get much attention. There is one status light above the QC port, but nothing else.

Despite its simple design, Syncwire is a bit heavier and more comfortable. Unlike many chargers that feel flimsy and fragile, the weight of this charger gives the user a sense of luxury. There was no rattling in the port and the charging cable did not come off during use.

Syncwire Lightning Cable

The other half of the packages provided by Syncwire were nylon braided lightning cables. This cable is very impressive. Not only is it luxurious, but a 6-foot length is enough to reach you.

Syncwire Lightning Charger is certified by Apple. That is, it does not carry the risks inherent in many cheap Lightning cables. Easily transfer both power and data. I was never disconnected during the test.

It includes the latest Apple C89 charging chip, and Syncwire claims to charge the device up to 20% faster than a standard lightning cable. However, what makes the cable most impressive is its structure.

Designed with an aramid fiber core, it is reported to be able to bend 12,000 times without breakage. This gives you a very high strength that is ideal for on-the-go use. I didn’t bend it 12,000 times, but the lightning cable feels tough in my hand.

Appearance of Syncwire cable

The lightning cable is braided and has a bright color. It’s unlikely that you’ll earn a lot of points with flares, but it looks better than the standard lightning cable that comes with most Apple devices. Its appearance is functional and convenient, and its appearance is braided.

Is the Syncwire Charger Worth Trying?

Both the car charger and the lightning cable were impressed during the test, even if the car charger didn’t meet the expectations of fast charging. The combined price of the two devices is only $ 33, which is significantly cheaper than other retailers’ comparable length lightning cables.

The device works well and does what you need at an affordable price. If you’re looking for a spare lightning cable, Syncwire’s options are definitely worth your time. Both cables and car chargers can be purchased from Amazon.
